This building, along with Mann Library and Warren Hall form the east enclosure to the Ag Quad. The largest building on the quad, Plant Science features on the north facade a long rectangular block with two projecting end bays, and one central bay. The southern facade consists of three projecting bays, spaced equidistant. The base is 3' high, with a rusticated six course stone first floor, rising to a granite belt course with cavetto molding. The upper three stories consist of brick laid in Flemish bond, rising to an abbreviated entablature, and short dentils below a broad frieze. The central entrance on the north facade has engaged columns with a full entablature, turned balcony railing, and Palladian-style window; the side lights are set off by granite quoins and entablature, with a central quoined arch. The bracketed keystone and turned balustrade above the second floor. The third and fourth floors center bay is framed by engaged Corinthian pilasters, with a Palladian relief to the fourth floor balcony frontispiece.
